Surgery

Equipped for the most common surgeries, the practice also offers hospitalization under perfusion controlled by an electronic pump and on a hot plate when the pathological condition requires it.

Surgery

The surgical procedure is always accompanied by preparation and post-operative follow-up. I perform all kinds of surgical operations under anesthesia, from so-called convenience surgery (castration, sterilization) to emergency surgery (fracture, etc.). I strongly recommend a health check before the operation to properly prepare your pet. The duration of the surgical procedure varies depending on the type of intervention and takes place in a sterile room. You will have to come back ten days later for a check-up and to remove the stitches from the wound. Of course, I will answer all your questions to reassure you and to ensure that everything goes smoothly.

Hospitalization

Hospitalization is necessary for any surgery. It becomes obligatory in the case of serious illness requiring repeated and extensive care such as infusions, redoing of dressings, administration of medications and, of course, increased monitoring of the animal. Everything is done to ensure the smooth running of the surgical procedure, from the preliminary health check-up to the post-operative follow-up.

Sterilization

The most effective, least expensive (in the medium term) and least risky solution for the future health of the female dog is surgical sterilization, which is permanent. It consists of removing the ovaries (with or without the uterus). This is a procedure that I commonly perform with minimal risk to your dog.

Castration

Castration has significant advantages for dogs: reduction in runaway behavior, reduction in the risk of fights between peers and the contraction of contagious diseases. This benign procedure is performed under general anesthesia and only requires one day of hospitalization.
